Annual Music Reunion for Boys and Girls Club of
Duluth
Duluth, MN…….Two of the regions most popular
rock bands from the sixties and seventies will
team up for their 7th Annual Music
Reunion on Sunday December 17 at Mr.
D’s in West Duluth.
Sound Inc. and QuickBreath will perform at Mr.
D’s from 6pm to 10pm. All proceeds from the $5
admission charge at the door go directly to the
Boys and Girls Club of Duluth. “This is a lot of
fun for the bands and most of us were or have
been involved with the Boys and Girls Club over
the years so it really is a nice opportunity for
us to give something back” said Tracy Lundeen,
organizer of the annual event. “We’re all
getting a little older so these reunions take on
more significance for those of us on stage each
year and we take great satisfaction in knowing
the money raised will help many of the kids that
need it the most” he added.
Sound Inc’s record “Dreams” topped local charts
for over 7 weeks in 1970 and was the Number 3
song for the year on WEBC’s Top 40 for 1970.
QuickBreath’s “Yours” was in the top ten for
three weeks in 1974. Both groups performed
extensively in the upper Midwest and Canada.
